
First year of the second generation C2 Corvette; famously quoted to look like it's going like hell when standing still; In '63 independent rear suspension was added, greatly improving handling versus the C1 generation of cars. Only engine available in '63 was the quick and nimble 327 CI engine offered in 250, 300, 340 (solid lifter) and 365 (fuel injected solid lifter) HP versions. Body panels are all fiberglass as they were in the C1s and for future generations to come. American fell in love with Corvettes with the second generation.
